Needing a new key? We’ve got you covered! This key contains an embedded micro-chip called a transponder. Each transponder has its own unique code–it’s the key’s ‘fingerprint’. When the key is inserted into the ignition and turned, the transponder is energized and broadcasts its unique code to the car’s receiver in the dashboard. If the car’s receiver recognizes the code, it will allow the car to start. This specific key holds a Philips 46 crypt transponder chip. This key also has a high-security blade, a preventive measure against ignition picking and key duplication. This key requires programming. This key is uncut and will need to be cut to fit your vehicle.

Warranty

We reserve the right to replace or refund within 30 days of the original ship date. Item(s) must be in good condition and shouldn’t be tampered with. We will test all items and may deny refund if damaged by the customer. Any return may be subject to a 18% restocking fee. Shipping is non-refundable. Items sent back packaged improperly or that are lost or damaged will be the responsibility of the customer.

Optional Extended Warranty

Protect your purchase with an extended warranty at Car Keys Express. If your item becomes unresponsive or breaks, we’ll replace it at no additional charge. This warranty does not cover loss and we will need to receive the item back to investigate and ensure all future items from defects. Warranties come in two varieties: 3 year and 4 year. The warranty period begins as soon as the purchase is made. Please keep track of your order number! It will need to be referenced in order to fulfill the warranty. 

– Covers all item damage, wear and tear.
– Covers manufacturer defects and breakage.
– Does not cover battery exhaustion, additional batteries may be purchased at Car Keys Express
– Does not cover item loss. Car Keys Express, LLC will require the item to be mailed back in order to replace it.
– Car Keys Express, LLC retains the right to refuse a warranty on the basis of intentional destruction, loss, or battery exhaustion.
